We couldn’t tell how adventurous life is until we couldn’t catch ourselves thrilled in this wholesome caving experience. Like other activities caving can be dangerous and may require strenuous physical exertion. And thus, caving waiver is highlighted to the participants who wish to join. All participants are obtained by a caving waiver before they proceed to the said escapade. Another reasons expounded on caving, not only for a past time adventure but a chance for further research for scientific study. Main risks involved are hypothermia, falling, flooding, falling rocks, physical exhaustion, and possibly trap from the inside. A commonly asked question is, “Is caving dangerous?” The answer is that caving is as safe as you want it to be and have the knowledge to make it. But still accept the fact that inevitable accidents are extremely rare.
Caving Waiver is not only read and sign method. The bottom line is that you are agreeing to enter the cave at your own risk and assume all liability, while agreeing to hold any other party responsible for anything. If you can’t agree in full to caving waiver, then do not step foot on the land owner’s private property and definitely do not enter Caves.
All participants, adults and adventurous ready for caving, must complete the Caving Waiver. The caving waiver will be signed the day of the trip when the guide meets up with you. Please make sure that a parent or guardian has signed their child’s forms before they leave for camp. The participants involving in caving are knowingly and voluntarily waive any right or cause of action arising as a result of cave visiting as caves also owned by any management publicly or privately. Participants must be aware of the nature of the cave especially that the cave is characterized as wild cave and that many other possibilities of harm may reveal as they go along inside the cave. As for participants under 18 years old, by the consent of the parent or guardian, the caving waiver is effective upon or before the trip. In consideration of the request, they accept the terms and grant the student the permission to join.

he/she hereby release and discharge, indemnify and hold harmless to the University, body corporate and their member officers, agents, employees and any other persons or entities acting on their behalf, and the successors and assigns for any and all of the aforementioned persons and entities, against all claims, demands, costs and expenses, and causes of action whatsoever, either in law or equity, arising out of or in any way connected with any loss and/or bodily injury and/or disability to his family including his minor children or children for whom he is the guardian. He should have had sufficient time to review and seek explanation of the provisions contained above in the caving waiver, and have carefully read, understand fully, and agree to be bound by them. After careful deliberation, he voluntarily give his consent and agree to this Release and assume all Risks classified in this Caving Waiver.
